The service was shockingly bad, even though the restaurant was quiet. Many waiter's passed us without taking our order. The food was filled with oil and over cooked

Prima restaurant. De locatie is prachtig, maar het eten viel tegen. Het voorgerecht is lekker, maar heel veel (veel brood) en het hoofdgerecht viel voor ons beide erg tegen qua smaak. We hebben niet eens een dessert gehad omdat we zo vol zaten, jammer! Daarnaast had je geen frietjes/salade/groente bij je hoofdgerech...

We hebben niet eens een dessert gehad omdat we zo vol zaten, jammer! Daarnaast had je geen frietjes/salade/groente bij je hoofdgerecht, dus moest je hier extra voor betalen. Als laatst: doe iets aan de muziek! Het was zaterdagavond om 8 uur en het werd techno gedraaid in een plek met etende mensen, matchte totaal niet met de sfeer.
Deze keer viel het enorm tegen. Door het tekort aan bedienend personeel duurde alles heel lang. Het eten was niet op de goede temperatuur en een deel van de hoofdmaaltijd kwam toen we al bijna klaar waren. Jammer want de locatie is perfect en ook onze vorige bezoeken.
Advies: zorg voor meer personeel als het druk is !

Upon entering we stood and waited while the staff had their internal discussions, when that finished one of the staff turned to stare at us without any form of greeting..so we took the initiative ourselves to begin an interaction. We were eventually seated but not asked if we wanted a drink. The shared starter of hummus was actually quite nice. Before the main courses arrived i ordered another drink, which never arrived, i had to ask again after the main dishes arrived. The main courses were terrible, the bavette was tough and the aubergine schnitzel was just an oil soaked tasteless pile of crunch. My drink was again empty and the glass was taken away and again i wasn't asked if i wanted another...how much revenue does this place want to throw away? we then waited for approx 15 minutes to be able to order dessert..which took another 20+ minutes to arrive, for cold, pre-made desserts. The only light in the entire evening was the irish girl who brought our dessert and allowed us to pay straight away. Bar Kantoor has slipped a long long way from where it first started. We won't be returning.
